A recap of yesterday afternoon... We watched Ernest Saves Christmas! I used to think that movie was so funny! I think it is a different kind of funny now! It is pretty stupid!

A while ago we bought a set of DVD's that included "The Music Man", "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers", and "Meet Me In St. Louis". We decided last night that we needed to get a break from Christmas so we put "Meet Me In St. Louis" in and started watching it. We did not know that this was considered a Christmas movie! We really enjoyed it though! We started it last night and finished it today.
Mary and Joseph have made it to the Nativity! We are getting close!
We also watched "The Grinch" tonight.

Since it was Sunday today we decided to watch some church movies dealing with Christmas! So we watched "Joy to the World" and Debbie and I thought a lot about our missions (since the movie came out when we were serving).

We also watched "Mr. Krueger's Christmas."

The other nice part about today was the Christmas program at church! Debbie was asked to do the narration in our ward and she did a wonderful job. The music was very nice and the program was great! Today was a day to reflect on what Christmas really is... (with the Grinch's help!)

Um, yeah, Meet Me in St. Louis is DEFINITELY a Christmas movie. How ironic that you'd put it in for a break from Christmas movies! That made me laugh! :)
