Practice Makes Perfect

As Stephen was watching Ana, I was practicing an updo on Meili for a runway show she is going to be in next month for my school. She wore it to school the next day. I think it turned out darn cute!


After we finished we met Steve and Ana for a quick dinner at SONIC! We had a lot of fun tonight.

Last night I had the opportunity to babysit Ana. She and I went to the park to fetch with the dogs. She got a hang of it, but here is a funny video of her trying to throw the ball.

Ana is the happiest little girl! She also looks up to her big sister and loves everything that Meili loves, including songs...

Happy Birthday to Stephen!

Sunday was my birthday. Debbie had to teach a Gospel Doctrine Class (so we had to go to church) and we came home and started dinner. We had BBQ chicken (a family BBQ sauce recipe) and Debbie made my favorite Sour Cream Berry Pie! (Thanks to Tami for the recipe) YUMMY!

We just had a quiet evening, and we enjoyed my birthday present, which was a surround sound system for our television (which Tyler helped me install in the walls two weeks ago). We watched Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix. It was awesome in surround sound!
Overall, it was a wonderful, quiet day!

Trip to the Caves

Stephen and I decided to join Katie and Dave and the kids with some friends on a trip to the Timpanogas Caves this Labor Day. The weather was really bad in the morning but it cleared up and was a beautiful day.

Here we all are at the start of our tour. Before you get to the cave you need to hike a mile and a half up the mountain. We were very excited to have that part over with.

This picture is one that Steve took of the valley. We thought we were so far up but we just continued to climb higher.

















Once inside the cave we saw all sorts of formations. Here are some shots that we got.

There were even fossils embedded in the rock walls, and Stephen's favorite... bat poop!

Once we were done with the cave tour we headed down the mountain.

It was a very fun trip we had a great day!
