First Laughs

Basically we have the most amazingly smart, handsome, and brilliant son ever!!!  We couldn't be more proud or excited about the milestone he reached today! 

We sure love this kid!

First Hair Cut

So Bennett's hair has been driving Debbie crazy for weeks!  He looked like an old man that was trying to grow out his hair in one section so he could wrap it around like a comb-over!

 We didn't get an after picture but she just trimmed a little off.  It looks very natural and it still is longer than his other hair.  We sure miss all that cute hair he had when he was born!

Mommy's Golden Birthday and Ice Cream!

Mommy celebrated her 31st birthday on January 31st.  We gathered the family together for the evening and ate at The Trolly in Springville and went back to the Chase's home for some dessert.  Katie made the best cake for Debbie!  Thanks Katie!

YAY for awesome family!

Grandpa Walter has purchased a second home here in Utah and he and Bonnie were here just in time for the birthday.  Grandpa is known for giving every child their first taste of ice cream.  It was too cold for our boy!

As you can see... he didn't love it.  GOOD BOY!

And this picture is classic!  (For everyone out there, it was the smallest little taste.  Just the tip of the spoon.)

Happy birthday Debbie!  We love you so much and are so grateful for all the wonderful things you do for our family.  You are the best mommy and wife we could ever ask for!!!

Chillin' at Home

One of the worst months in Utah is January!  Usually the inversion has hit us and we are frozen but this year we had a mild January.  We were still stuck inside with the boy but we tried to make the most of it!

Bennett's First Christmas!!!

Mommy and Bennett Christmas morning.  Christmas morning will be much more fun next year!

The presents that Santa left!  Bennett got some much needed clothes and a few toys.  It was a nice calm morning.  I believe it will be our last quiet morning on Christmas for a very long time!

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at Dave and Katie's and it was so nice to have the Stokes family and the Feller's (minus Elder Feller).  Bennett was busy being held by so much family!!!  Mommy and Daddy barely held him!

We had such a nice evening with everyone!  Thanks to all who made it a very memorable day!

Bennett was exactly 2 months old today!  What a cute boy!!!
