My Wife

Can I just say I have the best wife ever! She is such a wonderful person! She gets up with me every day and helps me get ready for work. She makes my lunch and works so hard around our house. She is the greatest with our extended families and gets along with everyone! I am so lucky to have her in my life. I really don't know what I would do without her. She is the very best and I am the luckiest husband ever!!! I love you Debbie! XOXO

Walter Family Reunion

This past weekend we went to Heber with the whole Walter Family for a really fun reunion. We went to the girls camp that the church owns. It was amazing! Bathrooms with running water and showers, amazing cabins, already cut fire wood and most important; A FRIDGE! Sadly though, Debbie and I were not able to stay the night. Here are some pictures from the fun activities we did!

The first thing we did was tie-dye shirts. Debbie and I were responsible for making Meili and Eliah's shirts and we found time to make them for the dogs too!

We played Bingo and card games and did lots of little crafts. We all had a lot of fun with these activities! (Even if they were meant for the little kids!)

Ana painting a rock, Family Bingo, and Dad and Bonnie

I think the best part of the trip were these challenge courses. The spider web was challening, the tight rope balancing was painful on my feet and the boards were very difficult to figure out. It really gave us an opportunity to lean on our family and help each other out.

Then there was the rock climbing, high wire walking and repelling. It was really fun! Most everyone in the family participated! Here I am on the high wire between the two trees.

Here is Debbie walking across the wire! I was really proud of her. She is very scared of heights and was amazing!

Scout was our little buddy most of the day. Here are Debbie and Scout watching a challenge.

The whole family
After the challenge courses, we returned to camp and told family stories and had dessert. The whole event was amazing! We had such a wonderful day! Thanks to the whole family who participated and planned the events! We missed those that could not come and hope to be able to do this again!
As for the dogs and their shirts...

They loved them!

Underwear Model

While doing laundry at our house, Katie left a pair of Lincoln's Lightning McQueen underwear by mistake. We have been meaning to give them to her, but last night we decided to put them on Lucy with her tail coming out of the hole in front. She acted like she couldn't walk. We put them on Maggie's head first, but she ran away!

July in Review

July is always a fun month in Utah! Every year we can depend on a visit from our California families. This year Debbie's family (except Ryan) came to visit. We spent the 4th with them and it was a very fun day! I introduced them to the Candy Bar Game and we had a great BBQ! Along with fireworks in front of our house (which is seeming to become a tradition) and Smores in the fire pit to end the evening. Here are some pictures of the big event!

It was very fun having Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad, Katie, Heather, Michael, David, Jefra, Everett, and Ellery there!

On the 5th we went to Richard and Susan's for an awesome family party! We had a very fun time seeing the family and enjoying home made Cafe Rio, Richard's rootbeer, and of course, Richard's special fireworks! (Which seemed to scare more than excite!) It was so much fun!

On the 24th, we went with Katie, Tami and their kids to Mapleton's Celebration at the park. I talked Lincoln into doing the dunk tank and he said, "Ok!" He jumped right in line and waited his turn patiently. It was the funniest thing all day! (That kid has no fears!)
Later that night, Katie, Lincoln, Scout, Tami and Meili came to do fireworks in front of our house. We didn't have our camera that day! BOO HOO!
Its seems the whole state shuts down during the month of July!

June In Review

In June Debbie and I went to see the Manti Miracle Pageant. It was a very hot day! We had to save our seats 3 hours before the pageant started. Since it was so hot we sat on the grass between the rows of chairs and played SkipBo. The only other game that Debbie brought was electronic Catch Phrase, and we thought it would be more appropriate playing a silent game on the Temple grounds.
We met our friend Jase at the pageant.

The very best part of the pageant happened when the actor portraying Christ at the temple in Zarahelma was blessing the children and as he held an infant in the air, Debbie leaned over to me and asked, "Is that a puppy?" It was a very spiritual experience.

Hot Mama!

Debbie came home from school the other night and announced as she walked in the door, "Don't be mad!" She had cut her hair in a spur of the moment decision and it looked very cute. It took me a few days to get used to the short hair, but I love it on her!

We Miss Disneyland!

This post is in tribute to both Disneyland and my Mom! We did not renew our annual passses to Disneyland this year and we were just talking tonight about how much we miss it! (It has only been 4 months since we have been!) This is a painting that we have in our loft by Thomas Kincaid that was painted for the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland. Mom loved Thomas Kincaid and loved Disneyland too! I think of Mom often when I walk into this room.

More is coming!

Yes, we are lame! Yes, we are boring. Excuses, excuses!
Computer was lame (now has been replaced), Work has been demanding, Debbie is back in Cosmotology School (less than 300 hrs. remaining!!!) and Summer has been fun!
Biggest news ever...Debbie cut her hair off! Pictures to come! :)
This is our new leaf! (we just need to turn it over!)
