Christmas Eve Day

We took Meili and Eliah for the afternoon today.  We started with lunch at In-N-Out and headed to Provo to go ice skating.
We sure had a lot of fun with them and it was a great afternoon.  Thanks for coming and hanging out with us!

Christmas Eve-Eve

Last night Debbie was freezing cold so I told her she should open one of her presents... I got her an electric throw blanket.  She told me I should open one of my gifts.  She got me a Magna-Doodle for when I am bored in Sacrament Meeting.  Happy Christmas Eve-Eve!

Meeting Summit

Today Maggie and Lucy met their cousin Summit for the first time.  Summit has never been around other dogs other than his brothers and sisters so this was a very new adventure for him.  Maggie was nice, Lucy was scared and Summit was very "interested" in "meeting" his cousins.  Welcome to the family Summit!  We are happy you are here!

Lights at Temple Square

Debbie and I spent the evening in Salt Lake earlier this week with my sisters and their families.  We started out with dinner at Applebee's and hopped a train downtown to Temple Square.
It was very busy for a week night.  The lights are amazing!  It seems that every branch of every tree has lights on them.
The nicest thing about temple square is that I heard so many people wishing "Merry Christmas" and not "Happy Holidays."  It is also entirely centered on Jesus Christ.  That really put us in the true holiday spirit.
We walked around Temple Square and then to the Main Street Plaza and into the Joseph Smith Building to see the view from the top.
After we were frozen and tired we took the train back to the Gateway for some hot chocolate and carmel apple cider at Starbucks.
What a fun evening with the family!  We wish everyone could have been with us!

Neighbor Gifts

Stephen and I decided that this year's neighbor gifts would be something for when Christmas is over and to help them welcome the New Year!
So I put together these packages complete for a fun New Year's Eve!  Each has 2010 glasses, confetti poppers, noise makers and a bottle of sparkling cider.
We thought this would be a great way to celebrate the holiday season without giving another plate of cookies!
I had a very good time making them!  Hope they like them!

Thanksgiving With the Walter's

We enjoyed the company of the entire Walter family for Thanksgiving this year.  We gathered together at Katie's for dinner and enjoyed quite a feast!
The food was wonderful and the rolls were AMAZING!  Debbie and I had quite a bit of trouble with the rolls this year but once we figured out our error they turned out awesome.
The table with the old people.
The tables with the young people.
The table with the most important people.
Lincoln enjoying his Thanksgiving.
Our dessert was at Tami's home.  Dad purchased pies from "Slice of Goodness" in Roseville and Natalie brought them!  Thank you both so much!  The apple pie was SO GOOD!
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful Thanksgiving!  It was so nice to all be together for the holiday.  On Friday we took family pictures.  I will post those as soon as we get them back!

Second Trip to In-N-Out

We promised Meili and Eliah a very long time ago that we would take them to In-N-Out on opening day.  We were losers and forgot so we dropped everything and decided to take them for dinner.  We waited for over and hour for them to get their food and we shared a shake and had a few of their fries.  (We only had burgers earlier in the day.)

It was so fun to be a part of something so exciting!  There were SO many people there and it was very cold but we had a blast.
It was so packed in the restraunt and people were like vultures waiting for tables so we just went outside to eat.  It was so funny looking at the Maximum Occupancy sign and realizing there were well over 75 people in the restaurant.

Enjoying the last bites of their delicious meals.

It was so fun to be able to go with them!  It was a very fun experience to be able to say we were there (twice) on opening day.

A Little Bit of Heaven in Utah

In-N-Out has opened in Orem today!!!  Debbie happened to be in Orem at the Mall so she headed over and waited about 30 minutes for our food!
It tasted great!
We are so happy that we have this piece of "Home" here in Utah!

Spending the Day with Lincoln and Scout

Today we spent the morning with Scout and Lincoln.  We painted pictures and walked the dogs.  It is amazing how quickly they have grown up!
Thanks for coming to play with us!  We had such a great time with you guys!  Next time we will have to take Ana with us!

Fall Party

On Saturday we went to Katie and Dave's for a Fall party.  It was supposed to be a Halloween party the previous week, but Scout got sick so it was postponed.  We invited Andrew and Jessica to join us!

We had so much fun!  Thanks again for a great party!  Happy Fall!

This Is It

I had today off so Debbie and I went to see "Michael Jackson's This Is It."  We really enjoyed this movie!  It was a good pace, entertaining, and not too much of a documentary.  What an artist!  He was strange in so many ways but you can't help to focus on him through out the show.  He really cared about entertaining people and was truly the visionary behind this concert.  I would strongly recommend this movie to others who grew up with his music.  If you can get past the strange crotch grabbing (done by everyone in this movie) you will really like it!

Introducing Disney Parks Tips and Hints!!!

We have started a new blog titled Disneyland Tips and Hints.  We love Disneyland and want our close friends and family to experience our love for this great place.  Over the years Debbie and I have gathered many ideas for making the most of our trips to the Magic Kingdom.  This will probably be the only posting on this blog in regards to this new blog.  We are doing this only for our love of Disneyland and how we feel while we are there.  Here is how you get to it.  On the top left side of our blog you will see a Mickey Mouse cartoon like one pictured here.  Click on that image and it will take you to our new site.  Please feel free to share this site with your family and friends!  Be very careful who you share it with though, or there will not be any more good ideas!  Feel free to comment and add your suggestions.  If you are having trouble finding the Mickey image click here.
