Alice June Walter - June 24, 2014

Alice June Walter joined our family on June 24, 2014 at 7:41am.  Weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 19 inches long.  She weighed one ounce less than her brother and was the same length.  She looked very much like her brother.  Welcome to the world baby Alice!  We are so privileged to have you in our family.
Mommy checking in for Alice's scheduled delivery.
First baby picture of our baby girl!
She was pretty calm during her first few minutes of life.  Didn't last long.
Introducing to mom!
Her sweet little feet.
The board in our room with her info.  Our labor and delivery nurse was awesome!
Bennett meeting his little sister.  "She's too heavy!" Was his thought.
Precious!
My loves
Baby Alice got poked a lot the first day.  Her blood sugar was low and she wasn't very happy.
Cousin Eliah holding our sweet girl.  Eliah was amazing to help us with Bennett while we were busy in the hospital.  We owe him a lot of gratitude!
Grandpa and Bonnie coming to meet baby Alice.
The Nelson family stopped to meet our baby girl.
Good morning world!  I am here and you will never be the same!
Aunt Tami came to visit almost every day.  Sweet.
Chillin' in the hospital.
Sweet little toes.
Sleepy little angel.
They are so sweet when they sleep.
The happy family leaving the hospital.  Our lives will never be the same.

Walter Family Reunion

The Paul Walter family gathered together for a family reunion here in Utah in June.  Katie and Tami had an amazing schedule and free time that allowed for everyone to have fun together.  Since Debbie was having the baby the next Tuesday we had to maintain a pretty low profile during some of the more strenuous activities.  :)
First day at the awesome Provo Rec Center.  The cousins were so good with Bennett.  They helped him down the water slides and took such good care of him!
Katie, Debbie and Tami chilling while the kids played.
The cousins.  Bennett couldn't get enough of his cousins this trip.  He followed them all around and they were ALL so good to him!
Prego Mama!
Paul and Bonnie enjoying the shade
That evening was Truman's baby blessing.  What a great evening with everyone!  Scout and Ana with Truman.
Jake is such a good sitter for Bennett.    We wished you lived closer!
Along with a crazy game of Family Feud!
The next evening we took  a family picture (which is already outdated) and enjoyed some hilarious Minute to Win It games.
Cookie from forehead to mouth
Cheetos stuck to your head
Such a good look
Water gun shooting and lots and lots more!  Great time with awesome people!
The next day we met in the canyon for lunch and to celebrate Grandpa Paul's 75th birthday!  The kids put on a skit of all the main events in his life.  It was very cute.  OLD MAN!
Bennett and Emily (SO CUTE!)

Dad and his 5 kids and spouses
During some of the free time Debbie and I took Bennett to the Bean Museum on BYU.  FREE and a ton of fun!  He saw this giant elephant!
He also saw the giraffes.  He loved this visit.
The family also threw Debbie a surprise baby shower on one of the mornings where we had free time.  There weren't very many pictures during the shower.
It was so nice of them to think of this and give her some attention.
It was a great weekend to celebrate family and enjoy some time before the baby arrived.  We didn't anticipate spending Saturday evening in the hospital though.  During the afternoon on Saturday, Debbie fell down the stairs causing her foot to become very swollen.  So we headed off to the ER to make sure she and the baby were OK.
Here is the trooper!  39 weeks pregnant and still smiling!
Poor foot!
Having slight contractions.  We didn't leave the hospital till almost 4am.  Everything was great and we would be back in 3 days!!!
An awesome time with the family and lots of laughs and fun.  We couldn't be more lucky to have an entire family who loves and cares for one another.
