Visitors from Pennsylvania

We had the greatest opportunity to visit with Dan and Ginny Anderson from Pennsylvania.  They came West to do some work and made a special trip to visit us!  It was so nice to catch up and visit.  We wish we could have spent more time together!  We sure love you guys and are so grateful you made the time to visit with us!

First Trip to Seven Peaks

Loving the water
The Family

Current Stats

  • He weighs 18.3 pounds and is very long and not too chubby.
  • He has two bottom teeth and one vampire tooth... (COME ON OTHER TEETH!)  He puts everything possible in his mouth.
  • He is crawling like a crazy kid.  Fast and with a demon look in his eyes.  He started crawling on Father's Day (also our anniversary) with a lot of the family present.
  • Pulled himself to standing position against the coffee table.
  • Can't sit still at all!  As you can see from the picture above.
  • Loves to torment Maggie and Lucy.  They keep their distance though.
  • Can fall asleep anywhere.  Jumper, crib, walking to the car, in the car.  Just not always at the right time!!!
  • He is super silly and happy almost all the time.
First Crawls

Facial Expressions

Bennett's funny new smile.  He squints his eyes.  Such a weird little boy!
Riding the same horse his daddy used to ride.   This was one of those moments that really made me happy.
Aunt Robynn holding the boy.  He was just getting over being sick and he got scared somehow.  This isn't a face we see too often so we had to capture it on film.
Loving on his cousin Ben.  We sure love all these kids!!!  I think Bennett needs some more vitamin D though...

Eagle Scout

Eliah received his Eagle a few Sunday's ago.  We are so proud of him and his huge accomplishment!!!
The whole Utah fam at the Court of Honor
Bennett was so happy but not reverent during the Court.  He is such a silly boy.

Graduations

Kicking Uncle Michael.
All Bennett could think about is grabbing that tassel.
Abbie and Stephen.
We also had twp other graduates in the family this year!  Congrats to Meili and Matt!!!  :)  We are so proud of all of you guys!

Trip to California

At the end of May we traveled to Roseville / Rocklin to see family and friends and introduce Bennett to everyone!  We were there a little over a week so there were lots of people and things to see and do.  It was wonderful seeing everyone and extremely exhausting at the same time.  We appreciate everyone's willingness and generosity on our trip.  Here are just a few of the highlights!
Bennett was so close to crawling on the trip.  He was getting so frustrated trying to get around.
He was such a happy boy.  His schedule was thrown off a ton and he had his cranky moments but overall was so good!  We are truly blessed with such a good boy!
At the Folsom Zoo.  We took Melody with us for the afternoon.  It was a cute little zoo.  Bennett didn't really notice the animals, he just wanted to hold onto everything in site.
The whole family.  LOL
We then headed over to the Sacramento Temple.  We just wanted to get a few photos of the family there.  It was a very warm day!
It was so nice being home!
Mommy and Bennett.  He was getting very tired and ready for his nap.
Melody, Debbie and Bennett at the temple.
Visiting with Jo.  He was in love with her puppy (Darby) and her oxygen cord.  He also got a Tickle Me Elmo from Jo!  So sweet!  We sure love her!
Ben and Bennett.  Everyone was amazed at how smiley and happy our boy is.  He is always happy!
We also visited many of our friends.  Carrie and Bennett.  We miss you guys!
The Eilmas Family.  We sure miss all of our awesome friends!
Everyone loves our boy!!!
Aunt Nat and Bennett at Royer Park.  He went down some slides and loved it!
Loving the swings!
Dinner and dessert at Robynn and Dave's.  So yummy and a great time with the family.
With Tyler and Kayla and their pup.
The kids all played non stop with Bennett.
We had the best time on the trip.  The main reason for the trip was for graduations of Michael (Debbie's brother) and Abbie (our niece).  Those posts come next!  We appreciate everyone and everything they did for us!  Especially Dad and Bonnie for allowing us to camp out at their home for all my friends and family who are so good to us!  :)

First Shaved Ice

A few weeks ago we headed to the best shaved ice place on the planet!  It happens to be down the road from our  home. Katie, Lincoln and Scout came to make it even more fun!!!
Bennett trying his first shaved ice.  So cold!!!
"Daddy, that's too cold!!!"
