With Age Comes... Blindness
Debbie has joined the glasses group. She now wears glasses for driving at night and for some distance. Doesn't she look beautiful? Here are Debbie, Abbie (who is visiting this week from California) and Meili at a gymnastic event for Ana, Lincoln and Scout.

Holi - Festival of Colors
Festival of Colors is an event that takes place in Spanish Fork at the Krisna Temple. Debbie and I wanted to go and asked if others in our family wanted to come. Tami and Eliah were brave enough to join in on the festivities.
Holi marks the beginning of Spring in India. It includes music, dance, spiritual thoughts and then a celebration of color. That tradition has come here and is bigger than ever. To read more click here to access their website.

Here are the three of us before heading into the madness. Tami stayed on the second floor of the temple to take pictures for us.
Here is the gathering before the coloring began. It grew to about double this size.
Here is the explosion of color. We were in the middle of this crowd. The experience in the middle is unbelievable. It is amazing. You get powder on every square inch of your body and want to get some fresh air but the you just can't stop!
Here we are as soon as the dust settled. You look like you have been through a war! When you think about it you can't help but realize that in the end, you all look the same. Pretty cool idea.
What an experience. Thanks to Tami and Eliah for coming with us! It is a great way to welcome Spring. It was an experience we will never forget.
Jazz Game
Last week Debbie and I had the opportunity to go to a Jazz game. Neither of us are big fans of basketball but it was a very fun evening.
Our seats were at the top of the arena, which made it difficult to see but it was still a great game and they blew the Timberwolves out of the water.
It was fun to do something different. A very nice date night in Salt Lake.

Family Game Night
Last night we held our second "Family Game Night." We held it in connection to Meili's 16th birthday party. Dad was in town so they participated in part of the madness. We had a delicious dinner followed by brownies and ice cream.
Here is the group focusing on the card game "Set". It is very fun and gets your mind to think differently about what belongs together.

Here are Meili, Eliah, and Debbie battling over a found set. We played a few rounds of this game and moved onto "Taboo".
We had a very good time with everyone! We wish the whole family could be together more often. Thanks to everyone who participated. It was very nice to spend some time with Dad and Bonnie before they head to their Mission in Nauvoo next month.

Pictures from the Photo Shoot
Here are some of the pictures Beach Body took of me while I was in New York. They took a ton of pictures but here are the ones I liked the best.

My Trip to NYC
Over the past year I have been exercising to "Slim in 6" and "Turbo Jam" and have lost almost 50 Pounds. I sent my pictures to the company (Beachbody) that sells these workout programs. I guess they liked them because they asked me to be in their new infomercial for the product "Slim in 6." They flew me out to New York City last weekend for a few days. Sadly, Stephen was unable to come on this trip. Here are some pictures.
It was horrible weather, so that was a bummer. Here is a shot of Madison Park during a break in the storm. It's a good thing I live in Utah and know how to handle the weather.
Here I am in one of my looks, working with the light. They had me stand in some funny contorted poses, it was fun though to go thru wardrobe with a stylist, and hair and makeup.
Here are Jamie (another girl from the shoot), Kat Carney who was the host, and me after doing our interviews.
Time Square, (a must for all tourists) wasn't very busy for a Friday night. The storm had kept many tourists at bay so we could walk in peace.
I was craving chocolate, but I guess he was craving me.
Here I am in front of the Canal Street subway sign. We went to China town to get some deals. It was a little scary though. Don't go there by yourself. It was a great trip!
