6th Anniversary and Ultrasound

This past Friday was our 6th Anniversary.  To celebrate we were supposed to get an ultrasound and have dinner.  The receptionist scheduled the ultrasound at a time that their office isn't even open so we were not very happy.  We went to dinner at Chili's (where we had our first date) and then came home.  What an eventful evening!

So here are the pictures from the re-scheduled ultrasound which was last night.  We also have a DVD if anyone is looking for an amazing movie for Friday night!  See the captions inside the pictures for what you are looking at.

Baby boy wasn't very cooperative about giving us a good profile shot.  Everything looks good.  The tech said he looks right on schedule and that everything seems great!  We are so grateful that everything is going so well!
Mom is 21 weeks and baby is 1 pound and the size of a spaghetti squash.

Baby's Room

This past weekend we started to put together the baby's room.  It still needs more work but we are happy with the outcome.  Enjoy!

20 Weeks

Dear Baby,

This week you are the size of a banana!!!  You are7 inches and weigh 11 ounces!  You are beginning to move around a lot more!  We are celebrating our 6th Wedding Anniversary this Friday by having our second ultrasound of you!  You better cooperate or you will receive your first punishment!

We love you lots!

Here is Mommy showing how much you've grown inside her!
This is a picture of an elephant!  I know it is hard to see.  We had a circus visit our town this past weekend and it was only 4 blocks from our house!  Someday we will take you to the circus and you will get to see real elephants!  They are amazing!

Cafe Rio

Dear Baby,
We sure hope you like Mexican and Southwestern food because we are kind of obsessed with both!  Yesterday Cafe Rio opened in Spanish Fork!  This is a huge event in our lives since this is probably our favorite "semi-fast food restaurant" in the whole world!  NOW DOWN THE ROAD!!!

So don't stress to much but we may have to send you back if you don't like their food!  Here's the kicker; you will eat there free for many years since every kid gets a kid's quesadilla and strawberry!!!  FREE!!!  LIFE IS GOOD!

Love,
Daddy and Mommy

First International Gift

Dear Baby,

We received the gifts above from our wonderful friends, Dave and Barbara Kronenberg.  They just returned from a European Cruise and brought you the cute shirt and key chains for us!  They were so thoughtful to think of you! You may have to wait a year or so to wear the shirt but you will!!!

We are going to receive many wonderful gifts from so many in the future and we hope to be able to thank them all for their genuine love and support.  We are a lucky family to have so many people looking out for us!

We are painting your room and putting your bed together this weekend!!!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy

19 Weeks and First Kicks

Dear Baby,

Today you are now the size of a mango!  You are getting so big.  You are 6 inches and weigh 1/2 a pound.

Last night Mommy was relaxing and I thought I would try to see if I could feel you kicking her.  I really didn't think I would feel anything since most people says it is on the early side of feeling you.  Sure enough you kicked at the right time and I got to feel you!  It was incredible!  You only did it one time but it sure made me smile!  Mommy has felt you moving quite a bit inside so I was getting kind of jealous!

Mommy is getting your room ready like crazy and we are already feeling a little rushed with everything we feel like we have to do.

Life is great and we can't wait for you to come and join us!

Love always,
Daddy and Mommy
