Bennett's Baby Blessing

Bennett was blessed on Friday, November 25th.  He was 1 month old.  We chose to do it outside of church since family was going to be in town only for a short time for Thanksgiving.  So after receiving approval from our Bishop we prepared a wonderful dinner and dessert for the occasion.  We made 3 soups.  Clam Chowder, Baked Potato and Chicken Tortilla.  We had all the sides needed and tons of dessert.  We had a ton of food!  It was great!  We held the blessing at Great Grandma Linn's home to accommodate the amount of people that were going to attend.  We had about 30 people there.  We blessed him and then dug into the food.  It was a wonderful evening.  Here are a few shots.
Bennett was an angel during the blessing.  He slept most of the time the whole evening.  What a cute boy.

What a wonderful surprise awaited me on the computer--------ALL those pictures. And isn't he the cutest litle man God ever gave anyone!!!!! Makes my Christmas more then Merry this year.
You just want to reach right into the screen and grab him and just hug the daylights out of him. You all must feel a great renewal of love each and every morning when he wakes up. Of course, kisses and hugs from "GG" Jo. I can see him changing in looks already. By the way, did his Xmas sock arrive?

I loved all the family pictures also, especially the one of you all in Disney. Wish Smitty was here to enjoy it with me. We would be talking of how we moved here and there were only five of you all across the street and then there were seven and------away the Walter Family went. and goes. Aren't you guys aware of over population/(ha)

If only Judy and Paul knew how awful we thought of them as parents, sending their 3 children off for the day at 5 or 6 in the morning. No it was none of our business but we felt so sorry for those "3". Five years later when we FINALLY got to know your folks did we understand where they were going every morning.

Time to sign off. Going to lunch with a few people I used to work with today. Kisses and hugs for one and all. Love, Jo
