Solvang, Ca

After we left Disneyland, Debbie and drove up the coast to Northern California. Along the drive we stopped many times to enjoy the towns and beautiful landscapes. Our first stop was in Solvang. Solvang is a very old Danish Town in Southern California. It is known for its windmills and Danish feeling.

We walked the streets for a little over an hour just to get a feel and snap some pictures.

Since we don't drink we didn't have much else to do. We tried to eat at an authentic Danish Restaurant but the selections didn't seem tasty to us!

So we just decided to take pictures and stop in at the bakery.





What a fun little city! I am sure there was a lot more we could have done, but we wanted to get on the road. This is something we have wanted to do for a while so we were very excited to make this stop!
