California Missions

On our drive up Highway 1 and from Monterey we stopped at two California Spanish Missions. We stopped at Mission Santa Ines which was located in Solvang.



Our next stop was Mission San Juan Bautista. This mission was used in the filming of "Vertigo." It is a beautiful stop and the town of San Juan Bautista is very old and rustic.





We didn't have time to do tours for each mission but it was fun to walk the grounds and see the beautiful scenes. It was a nice break from the long car rides!
