Stephen and I decided to join Katie and Dave and the kids with some friends on a trip to the Timpanogas Caves this Labor Day. The weather was really bad in the morning but it cleared up and was a beautiful day.
Here we all are at the start of our tour. Before you get to the cave you need to hike a mile and a half up the mountain. We were very excited to have that part over with.

This picture is one that Steve took of the valley. We thought we were so far up but we just continued to climb higher.
Once inside the cave we saw all sorts of formations. Here are some shots that we got.

There were even fossils embedded in the rock walls, and Stephen's favorite... bat poop!
Once we were done with the cave tour we headed down the mountain.
It was a very fun trip we had a great day!

I love Timp caves!! I always meant to take Sam up there, but we never got around to it. Sad, huh?
ps. Debbie, you look so beautiful in those pictures! How did you manage that, it's not an easy hike up!?
