4th of July weekend was very quiet for us this year. We had just returned from our trip and were still pretty exhausted. On Sunday we went to David and Jefra's for dinner and dessert. It was a nice evening. On Monday evening we had dessert and Katie and Dave's. Debbie and I took the "Candy Bar Game" for everyone to play. It was a pretty good success. Here are some photos.
Everyone had a few candy bars at the end and everyone was happy. When that was over we went outside to do some sparklers. None of us bought fireworks this year so we just watched the kids dance around. It was fun to be with the family.

What's the candy bar game? Looks fun, and yummy!
The candy bar game is super fun and easy. Buy a whole bunch of random candy bars and put them in the center of a circle of people. You will also need paper lunch sacks. Take two dice and set the timer for 5 to 10 minutes. Each person rolls the dice and if they roll a 7, 11 or doubles you have to take a candy bar as fast as you can and hide it in your bag.
After all the candy bars are gone you reset the timer for 5 - 10 minutes and everyone re-rolls the dice. If they roll a 7, 11 or doubles then they can take one guess and steal a candy from someone else.
Pretty easy but really fun.
Love the blog...One question on the game. For the second round if they roll the 7, 11, or double the pick a person and guess which one is in their bag. Then they get to steal it. Sound fun. Let me know if I have it wrong.
P.S We have a blog too..the7laws. blogspot. com

OK - you are in charge of games for our "Open House". !!!
You are correct. They have to guess what the one person has. If they don't guess it they lose their turn.
Oh good, someone else thought to ask how to play the game, too. Sounds awesome, we're definitely gonna try it out!
