4th of July

As we have done for the past three years we celebrated the 4th of July with our family in Salt Lake. We went to Richard and Susan's for a mini Walter Family reunion. It was a beautiful day and it was great to visit with everyone! Maggie and Lucy received a special invitation to attend.

We bought Old Navy shirts this year and found them for the dogs too! We were very concerned about taking Lucy (since she is a little unpredicable) but we decided to give it a try.

Daniel, Melissa, and Tami watching the insanity from a distance. Melissa is in Utah to take Matt to EFY. She came with Matt, Adam, and Camille. (We missed seeing you Brad!)

Ana, Debbie and Maggie swimming in the pool. I stayed out to keep my eyes peeled on Lucy.

Lucy has never acted better! She was in heaven with so many people that wanted to play with her and a HUGE yard to run in! She did grab a rice crispy treat off the table later but that was her only offense. She stayed as far away from the pool as she could!

Fun in the pool! Maggie couldn't get enough. She started swimming at 4PM and didn't get our until 8PM! She swam and fetched and never stopped for a break. She is exausted today!

We had Cafe Rio burritos for dinner. The food and the company were wonderful! Sorry for cutting off Taylor in the picture! (Our display screen has been broken since California)

It was a wonderful afternoon and evening. We wish we could have stayed for fireworks and more fun but we didn't want Maggie and Lucy to freak out and ruin our perfect day with them. Thank you to Richard and Susan for a wonderful day! You guys are so awesome to allow us to invade your home for the day!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

mmmm Cafe Rio! Can your dog swim without a life vest? I have never seen those before. No wonder he could swim for four hours! Looks like fun.

Way to go Lucy, (grabbing the Rice Krispy treat), if I'd been there I would have been sneaking them to you under the table. Looks like you guys had lots of fun.
